CS/AT- Key Detail 3

This is how my north wall section is shaping up... see the detail key below to see exactly where this is on the building... also, you will notice that the key doesn't show a below grade parking area, but I have accounted for it in the wall section..

Pete I see you are coming along quite nicely with your details and construction type...Does this relate to how you are changing and progressing your building? Or does this relate to your orig. mass? I guess the real interesting and difficult detail will be how to suspend the rail cars...and do they necessarily need to be rail cars as opposed to just metaphorically giving a nod to the rail car....maybe you think of another type of material or construction that can better fit the way you want to build your building and not necessarily get hung up on the actual rail car box...that may be impractical.

Peter, please see the comments on detailing. As much as your detail seems to be real (CADD drawn), many ansers to some of the standard questions are not obvious.
The use of an insulated precast panel seems to be sort of a magic bullet for you to deal with the exterior and get some insulation without too much headache. I would like you to research the insulated concrete panel and the uninsulated flat panel with spryed foam insulation on the back some more: draw the two side by side, figure out the thickness needed for some articulation, structural integrety and insulation value. Think about the joints too (first layer, weeped, second layer). Think about the interior finish, material, color, devices, etc.
